A snapshot of teacher modelling and a focus on developing deeper features. During this week of lessons we have focussed on using specific vocabulary in a well crafted sentence.











Some examples of the work produced over a series of lessons. Notice how language features are used by the students that I have used. I noticed that they copied and stole parts at first but over time started to understand that a powerful sentence doesnt have to be long and drawn out. Powerful vocabulary adds detail and a visual image. 
I will continue to model this way. I finally understand that children need to see what quality writing looks and sounds like.....
