Showing the children (and the teacher :) what the next step is....
I now have set up a writing wall in my classroom that displays what next steps are required to enhance their writing. I am starting up a new writing unit focusing on explanations to trial and use.....
On the wall i have set up level 2 to level 3 in writing as that is where the majority of the class sits. (Only 2 below 2). Each week I pull down a new learning target or WALT that we will be focussing on as a class. I will need to put up a writing of the week when the unit starts. This week our target will be the use of different sentence starters.........Stay Tuned....
